Summer time is a pretty good time to get caught up on your reading. I, for one, like to re-read all of my favorite authors and series in anticipation of any upcoming books by them during the fall and winter months. Sadly, we will not be able to do that as our favorite author is no longer with us to produce any more great stories. If you don’t already own the three Phoebe Siegel mysteries you can still get them on Amazon through used book stores. Most of our local libraries have discontinued them for check out. We are still hoping to have them re-released in eBook format but the author’s family will have to make arrangements for that. If we hear anything new about that we will let you guys know.
We had to delete the bookstore page as Amazon is no longer sponsoring them so we have linked the books to the pages in order for you to buy them if you need to below. We are still trying to update each of the book’s pages with a Cast of Characters and a better synopsis for our fellow fans to enjoy. If you have one already and would like to share it please use our CONTACT US form and send it over.

To the gentleman who sent us an email wanting to produce the books in eBook format: we are a fan site and are unable to help you with your inquiry. You will need to contact the family members to see if they are willing and/or able to proceed with that project. We haven’t heard anything from the agent or the author’s previous publisher yet but will post the information here in our news feed should there be any movement in that area.
Till next time…keep on reading….

Who wouldn’t want some new mysteries for our favorite character, Phoebe Siegel, to solve? We are still wanting our fellow fans to create some short stories with Phoebe Siegel as the main character. You can send us your stories to our email address: jolene dot macfadden at sandrawestprowell dot info and upload a text, Microsoft Word document, or even an Acrobat Reader PDF file of your writing directly from your computer. So, if you are an up-and-coming, beginner, or closet writer we hope you will take the plunge and create some mysteries for Phoebe, PI to solve. She doesn’t even have to stay in Montana to do it. What would happen if she goes on vacation in southern Florida with a hurricane coming and someone has stolen her luggage? Or maybe she has driven down to Yellow Stone to investigate some cheating husband who says he was going camping only to end up dead? How about her latest beau has gone into Canada for a policeman’s conference and comes up missing? Will Phoebe race to the rescue? You bet your booty she would.

Since there are only three books in the Phoebe Siegel series and it doesn’t look like there is likely to be another I thought as fans of Sandra West Prowell and her books we should create some fan fiction. That’s right guys take a few days out of you life and re-read the three books and write a short or even a long story involving Phoebe Siegel and some other fictional character that you like to read. I mean I am a fan of Dorothy Gilman’s Mrs Pollifax series and think it would be a hoot if they meet in Montana. Mrs. Pollifax is an senior citizen who decided to become a spy in her 60’s and she has had adventures all over the world and even a couple here in the U.S. Who’s to say that there might be some spies hiding out in Montana and Phoebe just might be able to help Emily Pollifax find them.

We are asking all of the fans of Sandra West Prowell to send us their fan fiction. It can be any kind of story in Phoebe Siegel’s world including all the characters we have read about and even introducing new ones. You can modernize the tale or keep it in the times that Ms. Prowell wrote her stories about. You can even mix characters from other authors into your story. It doesn’t have to be perfect but it does have to be rated “PG” so that we can share it with all of her fans here. If you write stories or know someone who does and they would like to get their stories read then this is the place to be. Send them directly to our email: jolene dot macfadden at sandrawestprowell dot info. One other thing, all stories must be true to the characters and the world that they live in. You can get creative to a certain extent but if the character did not act a certain way in the books then they will probably not do or say certain things given any circumstances. You can even write yourself into the story. That would be really interesting.
If you have or know of pictures of the author or fan art and/or videos that have been created about the Phoebe Siegel’s world you can even send that as well. The pictures must be in jpeg, jpg, bmp or gif format. And the movies need to be saved as a mov, mpeg or wmv format and less than 3MB in size. If you find one on YouTube.com then you can send us the link or the embed code in a txt file. We want to build up the readership of this blog. We cannot pay for any stories and we are not trying to infringe on any copyrights. We just want her fans to be able to enjoy new stories about Sandra West Prowell’s characters and world. And if you would like to write a synopsis of her books or review send that in as well.
